Fjord view 1 – double bed – NOK 1000 for one night (NOK 850 per night for two or more nights)

Our guest room fjord view 1 is with 14 m2 the biggest guest room in the house – our “honeymoon suite”. There’s double bed in this room. The room is on the first floor (no lift). The bathroom is just on the other side of the corridor, and is shared with the neighbouring room.

The house is furnished in an old country house style. A lot of the furniture were made in the local furniture factory Brødrene Bjotveit AS. The sofa is from this factory and was made around 1950. With its special royal style carvings, the sofa invites you to spend a romantic evening in the room. The little wood stove keep you warm in cold spring or autumn evenings – you will feel like you are on holiday in a little Norwegian mountain cabin.

Just remember that old beds are shorter than new ones. The double bed in this room is 1,87 m long. Old houses are also not that well isolated, so you may hear noises from the neighbouring room. We ask you to show respect for the other guests in the house, especially in the evening / night.

The view from that room is gorgeous – fjords and mountains as far as you can see. You can see where the Hardangerfjord meets Sørfjorden and Eidfjorden. The mountain straight on the other side is called Oksen – a amazing daytrip where the unique view from the top pays off for the effort. It’s also a super alternative to the Trolltunga-hike (which is also close by) if you want to enjoy the Norwegian mountains and the view of the fjord. You also can see the Hardanger bridge, the 12. longest suspension bridge in the world. It’s a really nice evening walk from the farm to the bridge. More activity proposals you find here. You also see our cherry trees, especially in flowering it’s a breath taking view. During the season will we spoil you with fresh cherries, plums and raspberries for breakfast.

There is enough space for an extra bed (baby travel bed 100,- NOK per night, extra bed child/adult 200,- NOK per night).
Included in the price is breakfast, linen, towels, bathrobes, slippers and Wi-Fi.

Our guesthouse is a house with its own historical charm. The house was restored and extended by Johannes Bjotveit who together with his brother Gunnar G. Bjotveit ran the art furniture factory “Bjotveit Brothers A/S”. Our guesthouse is furnished with furniture from the workshop.
Surrounded by the orchards and the beautiful landscape, you can relax and rest.
We have four unique and lovely guestrooms. Two rooms share one bathroom. All rooms share the common rooms such as the living room with a TV and the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. During breakfast time the kitchen is closed to our guests, because we using it to prepare the meal. The rest of the day you can use it to prepare dinner or lunch for yourself.
Around the house is a big garden you can use for relaxing, enjoying the view or to have a barbecue.

All bedrooms are on the first floor. Unfortunately the house is NOT fit for wheelchair users. It is NOT allowed with animals.
